Stop One: Toronto
TWO NIGHTS
We arrived late on Saturday evening, and so headed down to the harbour to take in the city. We are at the Amsterdam Beerhouse which had a great allergy friendly menu but was also showing the England game so had a great atmosphere. Then we headed to bed, hoping jet lag wouldn’t hit us too hard and thankfully all slept until 5am the next day. Sunday was to be our only full day in Toronto so we were keen to seize the day and head over to Toronto Islands. We ended up taking a Water Taxi to Wards, but I’d recommend timing your day to take the free ferry across. We firstly explored Wards Island Beach – the girls enjoyed making sandcastles whilst we had a few minutes to chill. We discovered lots of cute cafes as we explored the island and a playground. We stopped to take pictures of the view at (insert view point).
